Srinagar, Oct 14 (KNO): The Jammu and Kashmir Teacher Forum held a protest in Srinagar on Saturday to press for the release of GP fund. The protesters gathered in Srinagar's Press Enclave, holding banners and placards, and raising slogans against the administration. “We have continuously raised our concerns and demands for the past 2 months regarding the release of our pension, but our GP fund remains unaddressed, and we feel neglected,” said the protesting forum while speaking with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) here in Srinagar. “Our GP fund payments have been pending for an extended period, and since March 31st, numerous individuals have retired without receiving their final GP fund amounts. Therefore, we are compelled to return to Srinagar's Press Enclave to reiterate our protest, which we are urgently appealing to the authorities to address this matter.”—(KNO))
